WEEK 1 My reflection on Blogging  on 7 April 2013
Blogging actually is very interesting and informative.

For the person who creates the blog, it has many benefits. It keeps record of the learning process. It helps us to reflect, evaluate on what had taken place so that steps can be taken to improve the current situation.

Blogs has many interesting features which allows sharing information, ideas, video and websites.
We are allowed to post comments in each other blogs.

However,we need to be responsible in what we post in the blog, just as Donna encourages positive active participation and we must abide the rules and regulation when we go online.

Happy blogging, everyone!

I have tried this blogging with my secondary students in my school but the results is not encouraging.

However, in tertiary education purposes,I know it works. For adult learners in the course I took I witnessed all my course mates participated actively in Blogging. Maybe it is related to Maslow's theory of Intrinsic Motivation. Adult learners wanted to achieve their ultimate purpose of studying in pursuing the degree and complete the course, so they will do it
A thought to ponder...

Week 1 Reflection

Hello everyone!
The course is well-composed. There are a lot of useful materials on the course website, but unfortunately I haven’t enough time to study all materials carefully. It’s unusual for me to study on-line. I thought that it’s easier than face-to-face learning, but I was mistaken. It is very difficult to manage your time and to explain my family that I need evening time for learning. I have some problems with making my blog – Internet Explore interrupted the connection every time when I tried to write my post. But I was happy to  all my small victories: participating in class discussions and making my own blog. Thank you very much for clear instructions.

This is my first time learning on line 100 per cent. It is very interesting for me as this is a kind of refreshing course what I did earlier during my master programme in 2006.

I could still recall at that time that broadband service was not widely available such as now. We felt frustrated. This is because whenever and whatever we typed, we tried to post online disappeared due to the error in internet connection.Well. I am reminded, Prof Raja Maznah (University of Malaya) once said, "we need to plan for alternative just in case technology fails us."

Topic 2 Discussion

 My participation in discussions

I tend to agree to Pape et all (2005) that blogging and reflecting on what I did online course enable me" to introspectively analyze what I am teaching, why I teach the way I do and how can I change and improve my communication with the students.”

This is my desire to learn as I participate in this online course.
